Over a century ago, the building at 1245 E. Washington Ave was home to Gisholt Machine Company, one of Madison’s largest manufacturers. Now, it has been transformed for online retailer Shopbop. During the remodel, special attention was paid to maintaining the architectural integrity of the space as much as possible.
