The name of our business is also the name of our family. And because our name is on every one of our buildings, we strive to complete each one with the pride and dedication we’ve built this family business upon.
Bob Newcomb, Bret Newcomb, Gus Newcomb, and Sara Newcomb Bartlett
Founded in 1975 by Bob Newcomb, Newcomb Construction was built on the belief that quality craftsmanship, integrity, and customer satisfaction should never be compromised. What began as a small family business has grown into one of Wisconsin’s leaders in concrete tilt-up construction while remaining firmly rooted in the values it was founded on.
In 1992, Bob’s son Bret joined the company, helping expand the business while continuing the family’s commitment to hard work, accountability, and long-term relationships. Bob’s daughter Sara joined in 2002, strengthening the family leadership that guides the company today. In 2022, Bret’s son Gus became part of the Newcomb team, continuing a legacy that now spans three generations.
Being competitive at Newcomb is about more than winning projects. It means challenging ourselves to deliver exceptional work on every job, from a $1 million addition to an $18 million corporate facility. We believe the little things matter: clean, organized job sites, clear and honest communication, attention to detail, and decisions made with a long-term commitment to our clients rather than short-term gain.
Over the years, we’ve completed more than 100 tilt-up projects and built lasting relationships with clients, architects, subcontractors, and employees. Our collaborative design-build approach keeps communication at the center of every project, ensuring clients feel confident and proud throughout the process, not just at completion.
At the end of the day, construction is about people, trust, and values. That commitment is why more than 75% of our work comes from repeat customers, something our family and team are incredibly proud of.
