Newcomb Construction Company, Inc. is honored to have won a Good Samaritan Award for helping those in need. All nominees and winners were announced at a banquet held at the Monona Terrace April 24. The awards honor Dane County businesses for their actions that go above and beyond their usual operations.

Newcomb joined forces with the West Madison Senior Coalition in December to help shovel out the area's senior citizens. Nearly all the office and field employees volunteered a full day's work to help rescue citizens who were physically unable to clear their driveways and sidewalks. The team came together as a group and accomplished a task that was not required of them; instead they were compelled to do what they could to help.
